他们为家乡改造了两条河，铺了两条路，建了3座桥

    姜堰蒋垛镇兴港村孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩在外创业致富，不忘造福乡亲，先后捐资千万元改善村庄环境。昨天，兄弟俩捐资480多万元建设的蒋东河兴港村段1.5公里长清淤护坡一期工程，进入扫尾阶段。

为了河道护坡累计投资六百多万

    昨天下午，记者几经周折来到蒋垛镇兴港村，兴港村由原兴盛村、蒋东村、福民村合并。蒋东河是蒋垛镇通往兴港村的一条生产河，上世纪七八十年代开挖，是为让兴港村东部地区积水排向大河。蒋东河东西向横穿兴港村，总长近2公里。

 蒋东河兴港村段清淤护坡工程分两期进行，第一期长1.5公里，投资480多万元，今年6月份开工，目前已进入扫尾阶段，8月底竣工。工程负责人孟网进说，两岸水泥护坡宽6米，底宽5米。河两边还设混凝土挡护墙，高60厘米，确保安全。

      兴港村党总支副书记、村民委员会副主任王书凤说，蒋东河兴港村段近2公里长清淤护坡工程总投资600多万元，全部由兴港村孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩捐资。一期工程结束后，二期工程就动工，计划10月份竣工。二期工程虽没一期工程大，但任务并不轻松，这段河道两岸村民居住集中，按照孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩的设计，除了护坡绿化，两岸还要建亭台楼阁、停车场和休闲中心。“要让村民生活在乡村风景里，享受快乐生活。”

两兄弟已经投资整治过一条河

       据61岁的村民孟咸栋介绍，49岁的孟咸宏和47岁的孟咸军因为家庭贫穷，高中毕业后放弃上大学的机会，外出闯荡。兄弟俩先跟着别人后面干，用泥浆泵冲洗河床淤土清淤。“这种活儿相当苦。”干了十几年清淤苦工，手头渐渐有了积蓄，弟兄俩又办船厂。如今，孟咸宏在南通办船厂，孟咸军在扬中办船厂，兄弟俩凭着当初的吃苦精神，生意都红红火火。

     孟咸宏和孟咸军的父亲孟尔宽原是生产队长，11年前去世。孟尔宽生前多次告诫两个儿子，“咱们村庄偏僻，经济薄弱，将来有钱了，不能忘了建设家乡，造福乡亲。”

  4年前的春节，兄弟俩回家过节，看到河道阻塞，垃圾成堆，河两边的道路多处塌陷，有的地方仅剩一两米，村民怨声载道，村干部却筹措不到资金整治河道。大年初一中午，兄弟俩一起吃饭时，谈到这事，想到父亲的告诫，决定分批捐资改造。

    大年初一下午，兄弟俩找到村支部，说愿意先拿出400多万元，整治和改善村里的福民河。兴港村党总支书记孙丽平说，那时，有的村干部不敢相信，认为兄弟俩说大话。谁知，春节过后，钱就到了村的账户。2011年底，福民河改造护坡工程结束，两岸村民奔走相告。

    昨天下午，记者来到福民河畔，32岁的村民张宏军正钓上一条6斤多的大花鱼。张宏军的父亲张亚官说，福民河改造前，满河杂草和垃圾，河道堵塞，臭气熏天。如今，又回到了原来“河水清又清”的时代。

先后捐资千万惠及1200多位村民

    王书凤说，去年阴历六月廿四，孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩的母亲因病去世。兄弟俩是孝子，今年清明节，兄弟俩回家祭祀父母，看到蒋东河兴港村段糟糕的环境，又找到村里，说，“这几年，手头又攒了些钱了，想捐资改造蒋东河兴港村段。”兄弟俩说到做到，5月份，第一期工程的480多万元到账。

    孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩捐资千余万元，改造了福民河和蒋东河，另外还铺了两条路，建了3座桥，惠及村里的250户1200多位村民。村里多次要请媒体记者前来宣传，均被兄弟俩婉言谢绝。“这次，孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩捐资480多万元为蒋东河兴港村段护坡，被姜堰区委宣传部评为2014年7月份月度新事，才张扬开了。”

   昨天，记者试着打孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩的电话，两人都显得很低调，“这是应该做的。何况，村庄美了，我们回家过了也舒服。”

 74岁的村民孟尔加说，自从蒋东河兴港村段清淤护坡工程开工，他有空就来义务帮忙，干些力所能及的事，“说实话，孟咸宏、孟咸军兄弟俩在外办厂赚钱不容易，逢年过节回来，没看到兄弟俩开高档车。”
