“新海旭”起航参加“一带一路”建设
“Xin Haixu” Sets Sail for the Construction of “the Belt and Road Initiative”

         4月2日，由江苏海宏投资，海新重工建造的非自航绞吸疏浚装备“新海旭”赴沙特阿拉伯参与“一带一路”建设启航仪式在海新重工举行。“新海旭”此次前往沙特阿拉伯进行为期820天的作业，为沙特阿美石油公司的海上油气开采建设人工岛。
        On April 2, the Sailing Ceremony of world’s leading non-self-propelled cutter suction dredger “New Haixu”, invested by Jiangsu Haihong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd and built by Jiangsu Haixin Shipping Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (Jiangsu Haixin), for the participating of “the Belt and Road Initiative Construction” at Saudi Arabia, was held at the site of Jiangsu Haixin. “New Haixu”s this trip is to take part in the building of artificial island, which shall serve the offshore oil and gas extraction projects of Saudi Aramco Oil Company with operation span of 820 days.

        南通市副市长吴永宏，海门市市长郭晓敏、副市长江永军，中交上海航道局副总经理兼总工程师顾勇，上海交通大学党委副书记顾锋，江苏科技大学副校长俞孟蕻，中交疏浚技术国家工程研究中心总工程师张晴波，副总经理缪袁泉，启东海洋工程股份有限公司副总经理陈新华，中船重工第七一一研究所副主任严忠胜应邀出席仪式。上海交通大学党委组织部副部长吴映强、科学技术发展研究院副院长金隼，船舶海洋与建筑工程学院党委书记周薇、党委副书记王喜芳、副院长唐文勇，船舶设计所所长何炎平，海洋水下工程科学研究院院长杨启，江苏海新船务重工有限公司董事长兼总经理孟咸宏、常务副总经理陈五洲、副总经理姜国旺参加仪式。仪式由海新重工的副总经理张碧波主持。

        孟咸宏董事长代表江苏海新船务重工有限公司致辞，他表示，“新海旭”的建成是上海交大、中交系统、江苏海宏、江苏海新几十年的经验积累的结晶，从开始设计到建造完成，其核心技术均由国内自主研制，具有完全自主知识产权。在新的时代背景下，海新重工将继续充分发挥自身优势，坚定不移的为推进“一带一路”建设贡献自己的力量。
        On Behalf of Jiangsu Haixin, Chairman Meng Xianhong expressed at the ceremony: the successful newbuilding of “New Haixu” is the achievement of decades’ experience accumulated by Shanghai Jiaotong University, CCCc Group, Jiangsu Haihong and Jiangsu Haixin. The core technology from design till the completeness of construction were fully domestic developed and possesses complete independent intellectual property rights. In the context of the new era, Jiangsu Haixin will continue proceeding with its own advantage to contribute its share to the building of the Belt and Road Initiative.
